The Process

Before any modifications are made, we conduct a comprehensive health check, including diagnostic tests to ensure there are no underlying issues. Our state-of-the-art Dimsport DF2TR tractor dyno allows us to put the engine under load and carry out further tests to ensure optimal performance.

Once satisfied with the engine's health, we conduct power tests to measure maximum power and torque across the engine's RPM operating window. Our tests revealed that the JD 155R achieved 155.4HP and 1355NM of torque in its stock form.

The JD 155R has an additional boost function (IPM) allowing additional power to be used under certain conditions. With specialist equipment, we can even activate the additional boost function (IPM) to accurately measure the actual max power output.

After completing all necessary tests, the engine ECU is read, the file is precisely adjusted, and then written back into the ECU.
